ITC Confirms Board Meet for Q4 Results and FY25 Dividend Decision

India’s leading FMCG conglomerate, ITC, is gearing up to announce its Q4 and FY25 results on May 22, 2025.

The market is already abuzz with expectations as investors and analysts await the numbers. The ITC Q4 results preview indicates modest performance amid inflationary pressures and evolving sector dynamics. This upcoming board meeting will also decide on the final dividend, adding more weight to the announcement.

Revenue May Dip, But Cigarette Sales Remain Robust

According to estimates, ITC’s revenue may dip by 3.7% year-on-year to ₹4,837 crore, compared to ₹5,020 crore in Q4FY24. However, net sales are expected to remain mostly flat, growing 0.4% to ₹16,652 crore.

The highlight remains ITC’s cigarette segment. Kotak projects around 4.5% growth in cigarette volumes year-on-year. This is higher than the 3% and 6% growth seen in the previous two quarters. Gross cigarette sales are likely to grow by 7%, with EBIT expected to rise 3.5% despite margin pressures due to costlier inputs like leaf tobacco.

Dividend Watch: Shareholders Eye Final Payout

Apart from the earnings, the Board of Directors is also set to consider a final dividend payout.

ITC has a strong track record of rewarding shareholders, and with consistent free cash flows, another healthy dividend could be on the cards. This makes the May 22 board meeting even more crucial for long-term investors and retail shareholders alike.

What Else to Watch in ITC’s Q4 Update?

Alongside revenue and cigarette performance, the board will also review:

  • Segment-wise performance, especially in hotels, paperboards, and agri-business.
  • Balance Sheet and cash flow statement for FY25.
  • Possible commentary on rural demand and how it’s impacting FMCG sales.
  • Any update on the ITC Hotels demerger, which has remained in investor focus.

Interestingly, many analysts believe the hotel segment might show positive surprises, driven by travel demand and improved margins.

Final Thoughts: ITC Results Could Trigger Market Action

ITC’s Q4 results may not bring fireworks in topline growth, but strong cigarette sales, stable margins, and a possible dividend boost could provide upside. Investors should watch the board commentary closely—especially updates on cost inflation and FMCG growth outlook.

This result is not just about the past quarter; it’s also a signal of what lies ahead in FY26. If you’re a trader or long-term investor, mark your calendar for May 22.
